The Horizon Europe co-funded TRANSIT project [TRANSITion to sustainable future through training and education] aimed to provide sustainable training and retraining programmes to current and future generations, adopting an interdisciplinary approach to Renewable Energy Sources (RES) technologies and fuels. In this context, TRANSIT designed and implemented an integrated training, retraining and social engagement programme, which addressed stakeholders from various employment sectors.
More specifically, in its 3 years of operation, TRANSIT (i) gathered and promoted successful educational practices on sustainability issues, (ii) developed an educational approach that upgrades academic programs aimed at industry, and (iii) developed an online platform that hosts the multidisciplinary program that emerged from the various educational campaigns.
