Konstantina Papasimou is an Environmental Engineer, graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace (2016), and a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber. She started her career with an internship at a private wastewater treatment plant in Greece, and at a public municipal-waste treatment company in Germany. She worked in Greece as the responsible for the preparation of Environmental Studies for various development projects, until she moved to Cyprus in 2019, where she worked as a site engineer supervisor for a specialized building materials company, and then as an officer of the Nicosia Development Agency, for the Green Service of a Municipality in Nicosia district.
Through a training she attended at the premises of the Cyprus Energy Agency, Konstantina obtained the title of the Qualified Expert and Energy Auditor Class A’. She got employed by the Agency in February 2024, and since then, she forms part of the Climate Change & Environment Department, and the team Climate Change Mitigation & Sustainable Mobility.
