The PRO-ENERGY project [Promoting Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings of the Balkan Mediterranean Territory] aimed to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings located in the Balkan Mediterranean Territory. This was done by (1) developing and implementing a joint strategy and action plan, (2) equipping building managers and employees with the necessary skills and knowledge, (3) developing and implementing technologies and tools to reduce energy consumption in public buildings and (4) promoting good practices and results to local, regional and national entities in the region.
